A new social contract would include the right to be able to live without a #car. The focus needs to be on HOW to make big changes.

Only a radical reduction in energy demand through transformation offers the greatest drop - over 50% in most sectors, with various co-benefits. The ease of transition is significantly easier with reducing demand.
