They are obsessed with analytics and bowler workloads when they comfortably beat a visiting test team 2-0. Cricket is terrible to watch when one team is much better than the other. Perth doesn't deserve a test match because not enough people come to watch the boring game.

These and other opinions are given voice by those who are ostensibly fans of the game and the team. But they are strangely also the subject of several articles, and talkback sessions, and panel shows, and podcasts on a select range of mainstream media outlets. I wonder which is the chicken and which the egg?

A bit of a funny story from the cricket.
I stood up after an over to stretch my legs and behind me were 2 blokes struggling to take a selfie with Desmond Haynes. I offered to take a photo for them, and they walked off happy. I asked Desmond if he'd autograph my cap, which he was quite happy to do. After a nice chat he went off to do some interviews.
I sat down happy, then thought, bugger it, I should have gotten my own photo with him! Best I could do was get a pic of my hat with his autograph haha.
