But not all categories of paid disinformation are equally bad: it's one thing to pay a 15% surcharge on a takeout meal, but there's a whole universe of paid *medical* disinformation that Google knows about and has an official policy of tolerating.

This paid medical disinformation comes from "#CrisisPregnancyCenters": these are fake #AbortionClinics that raise huge sums from religious fanatics to buy ads that show up for people seeking information about procuring an abortion.

There's something incredibly special about seeing your #research out in the world, making a difference. Yesterday I was honored (and surprised!) beyond words to see the Abortion Fund of Ohio providing a summary of my research to anyone interested in learning more about #CrisisPregnancyCenters and the harm they enact in the fight for #reproductiverights and #abortionaccess.

You don't expect to see your paper mentioned at a local flea market, but sometimes that's exactly where it should be.
