Posted this while waiting for my #burrito; walking home, this Hispanic woman's walking alongside, then ahead of me, then turns around to check me out again (I figured cuz I was wearing a skirt & T-shirt). A bit later, she looks back again, slows down, walks next to me again, but looking at my ear so I say "Strawberry" & she smiles, says "Nice, #Papi, nice..." & pulls ahead again.

I wanted to share these bags I #crocheted this week:
I spotted a picture of a similar one on Pinterest and wanted to try and make one, so I found a #grannysquare pattern I liked, changed it to suit me and got cracking - that was the green moons one.
Both of the bags are lined with cotton material that was left over from another project, and I've put in metal clips to attach the strap to. There are magnet closures on the inside and a button to hold down the flap.

I am still fighting with a cold, it hasn't knocked me out completely but I'm definitely feeling unwell! I spent all day yesterday on the couch & I finished my dark green silk #crochet #earrings & I also made a new batch of #reusable #crocheted cotton pads for makeup removal! Crochet was one of the very first techniques I learned at maybe 6 y.o! Still really enjoy it!

Just #crocheted the last stitch on my scarf if many colors (using up leftovers and some mini skeins that I haven’t worked in elsewhere.)
Portobello Road Scarf pattern by Titti Stenke in and asst of mostly fingering yarns. Not cleaned up or blocked yet, of course.
I ran out of the last color 11 stitches shy of the end, so I subbed in a similar color of Sandnes Sunday that I had to double to make it look decent with the outage yarn. (One seller’s 1 is closer to a 2)
