This is the amazingly preserved skull of #Baru wickeni, a mekosuchine #crocodylian that lived during the late Oligocene of Australia. The specimen was described in detail by @alcootatooter in 2017. It’s #FossilFriday! This is the skull of #Kambara implexidens, a #crocodylian from the #Eocene of Australia. Kambara is the oldest named crocodylian genus from the #Cenozoic Era of Australia.
