Going to Reimagining the Cross Bronx Expressway workshop tonight. This one is about the western segment of the Cross Bronx which I biked through last Sunday
This one is at the Bronx School of Young Leaders MS331 - 40 W Tremont Avenue - The Bronx, NY 10453 from 5:30pm til about 7:30pm. Going with B train. Hope there are a people there who live there and that general public is not outnumbered by NYC agency staff.

There's been consideration to opening one or both of the currently closed tunnels beneath #WashingtonHeights (178th, 179th street) that serviced the #GeorgeWashingtonBridge before the #CrossBronxExpressway was built as #bikenyc tunnels. Would connect the east side greenway running along the Harlem River with the west side greenway at the #LittleRedLighthouse on the Hudson River.

Do a light show too?

Plans in 2004 to reactivate to reduce vehicle congestion.
