#LewisCarroll and #HenryHoliday's "#TheHuntingOfTheSnark" is #CrossoverLiterature. It has been written for children as well as for adults. You read the #ballad differently at different ages.
Henry Holiday's view: «L.C. forgot that “the #Snark” is a #tragedy» (https://snrk.de/the-snark-is-a-tragedy/). I think that Carroll did not forget that. He wrote his Snark #ballad as a #tragicomedy for everybody and as a #tragedy for readers who are mature enough to cope with the #Boojum.
