Croatia is a very good team and on paper should've won this game as it has. But it's very disappointing to see #CANMNT, who looked great in the opening minutes, just stop fighting. Stop defending. There are really only a few, easy rules to pronouncing #Croatian names with an anglophone tongue:

• if there's a diacritic, add an h: š=sh, ć/č=ch, ž=zh.
• j is a y.
• dj and dž are English j.

Part of the reason #CANMNT is getting overrun is that the ref has stopped calling fouls. Attackers keep losing the ball by getting absolutely steamrolled but no whistle. It's not the only problem but it's frustrating. #CROvCAN #WorldCup
