What would folks think about a #Crowdfunded effort that every month bought an Apple advertisement in the App Store to drive downloads to one of the top #Mastodon apps?

Although I still mostly read stuff from the library, I'm trying to get into the habit of buying/backing more self published books from people I follow on Mastodon and Tumblr. "Be the change you want to see in the world" and all.

Which is all to say that I just backed this Kickstarter for "The Pits: An Illustrated Queer Fantasy Adventure Novel" and I'm excited about it, and you might be too!

My kid and I really loved the gorgeously illustrated seek-and-find book by the same artist, their emergency prep poster has been helpful to have on my wall, and I'm looking forwards to this book!
