The remains of the old Crow Road Railway Station under Clarence Drive in the west end of Glasgow. It was open from 1896 until 1960.

From here, trains once ran as far west as Dumbarton (along what is now a cycle path to Loch Lomond) as well as into the middle of Glasgow and up to the old Caledonian Railway Line which ran under the Botanic Gardens.

So I read #CrowRoad years ago. And loved it. The mega twist was so brilliantly done.

So I watched the series and had completely forgotten the nature of the twist (I remembered that there was one). So it was a pleasant surprise all over again.

Such a good and clever story.

Whenever I’m out walking and see this sign anywhere, my mind immediately remembers #CrowRoad by #IainBanks

Because, clearly, the ludicrous drunken mishap is all that book is about.
