I visited the #CrucibleTheatre in 2004, it was the last year with this incredible pink carpet. The day I arrived Stephen was out and, in the hotel, an old castle, the promised ghost didn't show up.

I remember #ROS playing Jimmy White in London.
One part of the crowd was screaming "Come on Ronnie!", and the other part "Come on, Jimmy!". The ref, Eirin Williams, was screaming "QUIET; PLEASE!".
The answer of both parts of the crowd: "COME ON; REFEREE!"
Eirin Williams was laughing so much.

The Shaun Murphy/Si Jiahui match even had my partner @Kaylee a little invested, even though she's previously said #snooker was boring!

#Snooker: Shaun Murphy vs. Si Jiahui is match of the tournament so far for me. What an epic match that went all the way down to the wire!

First time I've seen Si Jiahui play and was very impressed. Didn't wilt under the pressure of his debut at the Crucible and won the deciding frame to go through 10-9.

Will be watching his next match for sure!

#Snooker: Wonder if Robert Milkins can gain some composure in the match against Joe Perry. It's very clear he's super frustrated at this point after Perry has stole a few frames, and that frustration is causing him to make basic errors. At 5-0 down, it's a long way back from here.

I saw Brecht's The Good Person of Szechwan last night at The Crucible in Sheffield. If you don't know the theatre, it has a huge thrust stage, one of the best in the UK. The production cut quite a bit of the play, which is rarely performed even though it's a major work by Brecht, but without cutting any of the impact. They made beautiful use of the stage with an inventive set, the characters were well played by a majority Asian cast and Dessau's songs still heightened the dramatic moments. It's only the fourth professional production of this work in the UK in around 80 years since it was written by Brecht/Steffin/Berlau, and I'm glad I was there to see it (the second time I've seen it performed). #Brecht #CrucibleTheatre
