Crusader Kings 2 is still the greatest lesson of why no one should be given unlimited power and authority. I become a paranoid autocrat. You don't support my bid for the throne, mom? 1000 years dungeon. You are asking where mom went, brother? 1000 years dungeon! You coughed too oddly, son! 1000 years dungeon!

New #ck2 achievement: "I Do Not Play Chess". As the execution mechanic counts towards a character's kills this really is more a test of a player's tolerance for tedium since a save before a tyrannical mass arrest & execution is straightforward, with Task Manager to shut the program making it harmless in iron man.

I expect to get "History is in my Blood" on succession too. At king tier with good diplomacy & join court bribes getting 5 bloodlines is easy enough.

Currently going for a few achievements in #crusaderkings2 / #ck2

Survivor (1066-1453) is the main one because it didn't unlock when I did the longer survivor playthroughs.

Also Bring It On (Bloodline stacking means I've already got killer personal combat stats in the dynasty).

Finally Empressive (delaying becoming an empire another ~40 years until basically a lot of Ireland and all of England and Wales has de jure drifted into Breizh, see how titular kingdoms works).
