The CryptPad suite is cryptpad's own applications, OnlyOffice spreadsheets and Draw.io diagrams in a trenchcoat.

Here's a concept that I reckon would be useful in the apps we use in chat networks like @xmpp and @matrix; disposable breakout rooms. These would work like any other private, E2EE, group chat, but created with a specific purpose, and a specific expiry time, with no history kept. This could be useful for a focused chat on a topic, with notes recorded elsewhere, eg an EtherPad or CryptPad, to be integrated into to more permanent documentation.

My #firefox and #duckduckgo experiment is going well. But email feels like a bigger commitment along this #degoogle path. I looked at the usual suspects like Proton, Mailfence, Fastmail, etc. I also ran across #deroot (https://deroot.org). This is much more than just email! They offer #NextCloud #Cryptpad #Jitsi and all sorts of other stuff. A group of loosely aggregated open source stuff, and feels less seamless as a result. But definitely interesting. Anyone have any experience with them?
