One of my very first course students came over for a visit today. The feedback I often get from my students is that they have started to get curious again about the world around them, the reality they experience. They become more playful and hungry to experience more of what life has to offer. For fun we found some crystals from my collection, and discussed their properties and programmability.

So hi, I am Morgan, 40 years, non-binary, queer leftist.
I am a Norse pagan witch also interested in Celtic paganism/druidry but not very knowledgeable yet
I grew up Buddhist oh and I take a lot from that belief as well.
I am a trance worker (I don’t like the term shaman, or shamanic practitioner for myself): crystal enthusiast, sound, healer, artist and I am interested in many things
I would love to get to know other pagans and witches, especially from Germany, where I live

Many practitioners in the world will tell you that you need crystals or stones to protect you. You don't. Protection comes from within. No external object, amulet, stone, or herb is going to protect you as well as your own confidence, sense of self-worth, your own inner light shining out into the world. When you are in a healed state, you are your own protection.

Crystals, herbs, and so on are meant to help us heal ourselves. Nothing of the earth should be used as a barrier *against* anything, because it is all made of light, water, and earth. It is meant to flow, to allow, to heal. A mindset of fear and the feeling that you need to protect yourself prevents all of that from happening.
