the idea of 'modesty' as hegemonic heteropatriarchy, clothing as small acts of resistance.
fabulous #CSSE presentation by Melissa Keehn on how high school dress codes impact queer & trans youth, against the backdrop that schools in NB are increasingly anti-queer, anti-gay, & anti-trans.
policies are full of gender/sexuality biases & queer visibility is coded as deviance.
