I joined the board! I'm the Newsletter Oversight Editor, and in that position will work to help reveal the "" and less obvious resources.

For those who were unaware, all issues of the CSWEP Newsletter are available online: aeaweb.org/about-aea/committee

Recent newsletter issues have discussed everything from navigating the (pre-doc era) PhD process, to getting research funding, to seminar culture.

"The two characteristics most associated with higher rates of sexual harassment are (a) male-dominated gender ratios and leadership and (b) an organizational climate that communicates tolerance of sexual harassment." Great talk by Billy Williams of the American Geophysical Union at panel on sexual harassment at Annual Meeting. He added (paraphrasing): "We can predict where this will happen."
