TIL the #Chicago transit system’s 30-day passes are somehow cheaper than they used to be. Back ~ 2010 when my wife needed one, they were $100. Now they’re down to $75.

IIRC, the per-ride fare hasn’t changed from $2.50.

While the #cta could certainly use improvement, I always want to make sure to take the time to appreciate the drivers and operators who are doing their best with what they have. So many times a bus driver has saved my sorry ass, and they deserve far more respect than they get.

That being said, it desperately needs a fresh perspective from leadership, the ghost buses are out of control.
