So, weather and technology permitting, tonight sees the first #launch of #satellites from UK soil from #Spaceport #Cornwall. The #VirginOrbit #LauncherOne rocket will be putting several #cubesats into orbit after riding under the wing of #CosmicGirl, a repurposed 747. If it works it will confirm the capability of "popup" launches that can happen from any major runway.

Et vous commencez à voir la forêt de câbles ! Le rover, comme de nombreux #CubeSats ou microsats, est très dense. Et au bout d'un moment on ne voit plus les sous-systèmes, on voit surtout leurs câbles ! On appelle ça "le #harnais" et il ne faut surtout pas sous-estimer son volume ni son poids. Et un harnais se "route" et s'attache intelligemment le long des équipements pour ne pas ressembler à ce qui se trouve derrière votre meuble télé.
