Gummy stem blight is an important global #disease of #cucurbits, caused by 3 species of #fungi that are morphologically identical and have overlapping geographic and host ranges. Resistant cultivars are not known and the fungi are often insensitive to fungicides. I'm wondering if I could graft delicata onto tromboncino root stock. Someone must have tried this already. Bt might work well enough in a grafted plant - though you would have to inject between every node since the channels are blocked at the nodes.
