The #tomb of John Richard Norris (1859-1932) in #Fairview #cemetery in #culpeper #Virginia. The photos were taken by me on July 8, 2023. The #plaque gives a brief #genealogy of the #gentleman. Unfortunately, though, it appears that I accidentally cut off a few words of the plaque. #geneadons #TombTuesday

This past #weekend we were in northern #Virginia and took a side trip to #Fairview #cemetery in #Culpeper to visit my aunt’s #grave. We never located it, but I took the opportunity to #photograph some interesting #headstones. This one is #civilwar era. Fairview is on the #nationalregisterofhistoricplaces. #TombTuesday
