I finished #CultOfTheLamb last night. I loved playing this game. It took me 50+ hours to finish it but I like to play games slowly as I play to relax and have fun.

The game has the cuteness and the cruelness magic mix. Similarly to #AmongUs and the movie #starshiptroopers .

I might some day play this again. Then on stream and give my viewers the opportunity to be part of my cult.

The game I have been playing the most of, for the past years is #Minecraft and I make YouTube videos and stream.

I do play other games, like #Skyrim #rimworld #cultofthelamb #TwoPointCampus #kingdomcomedeliverance and many more.

I have reached the stage with #CultOfTheLamb that I sometimes reach with games. I’ve really enjoyed the overall game but the final section tosses everything out for a series of boss fights where you don’t get use any of the assets you’ve spent the whole game getting. It feels pointless to have spent hours acquiring fleeces and levelling up followers when they’re useless at the end. It’s just a series of twitch fights. :/

But I definitely know that feeling; I’m very guilty of the same, putting games (roguelike or otherwise) on the shelf prematurely. 😅 At least #CultOfTheLamb doesn’t sound terribly long!

So I started up #CultOfTheLamb tonight for the first time and played it for almost two hours. Very cute and weird, reminds me of #BindingOfIsaac meets #Hades meets #AnimalCrossing haha.

• #CultOfTheLamb — wanted this for ages! Looks both cute and fun/chaotic
• #VampireSurvivors — heard it’s good and a friend said it was good and it was cheap
• Divinity: Original Sin 1 & 2 — I have so many CRPGs to play but for $21 USD for both I figure I will enjoy them … someday 🤣

Now when I will actually PLAY these is a mystery! 😂

Now about a quarter into #CultOfTheLamb and am enjoying the management elements. As someone who doesn’t love #roguelike games, it manages to work for me due to the less severe challenge and forgiving fail state of a game over. Dungeon runs rarely exceed 10-15 minutes so it a nice bite size of game between returning to your base to… do… cult stuff.
