This is interesting: a #map of world #cultures that traditionally have three or more #genders: https://www.pbs.org/independentlens/content/two-spirits_map-html/

A couple of observations:

1. The text is very much written from a binary-gender perspective which is slightly disappointing but perhaps might ease the way for people who are still uncomfortable with the idea of anything but a strictly binary man + woman based society.

2. Some of the entries seem to label certain sartorial choices as a third #gender, and I'm not sure that's accurate. Are people who are biologically male and choose to wear clothing that their society labels as feminine necessarily members of a "third gender"? It could be that nuances are being lost in these necessarily brief overviews of complex societies.

The evolution of my inner life has gone from questioning my country’s identity and trajectory to indicting it wholeheartedly. The #West is a fiction we create through action. The less we engage with it, and also become more aware of our past, the easier it is for other #cultures to seep into our roots without appropriating them.

On dit "pas de nouvelles, bonne nouvelle" mais si j'ai rien écrit ces derniers jours c'est plutôt à cause d'un bon coup de déprime :
Gérer le #stage en parallèle du lancement des #cultures c'était trop. Je n'arrivais pas à être sur ces deux fronts à la fois et les deux en ont pâti.
La #fatigue d'abord, à cause des journées à rallonge. Et j'ai fini par dire à mon maître de stage "je ne viens pas aujourd'hui" puis "je ne viens plus" (en mode, plus du tout).
