It's #WorldPhotographyDay so I thought I'd share this photo I took this afternoon of some windsurfers on Fannyside Loch, #Cumbernauld on my walk around #Palacerigg Country Park.

Lovely afternoon at the #cumbernauld #repairCafe , spent so long fixing one lady's CD player that she volunteered to do some sewing.

The mighty medieval Bothwell Castle, built on a bluff above a bend in the River Clyde. Construction began in the latter half of the 1200s but invasion and repeated siege meant that the original design of the castle was never completed. There's an exhibition about the Antonine Wall on at #Cumbernauld museum at the moment. Since it ends at the weekend I thought I'd pay a visit today.

There was something about the surface of the moon that reminded #Arria of the landscape of #Cumbernauld that she just wanted to see it for herself.

At #Cumbernauld Old Parish #Church this afternoon we held our annual #Rainbow Service, when we remember those who are no longer with us in person and those who are mourning their passing.
At this time of #Advent the promise of #hope remains and everyone was invited to take away a bulb to plant and which will flower in the spring.

#Cumbernauld Old Parish #Church will be holding our annual Rainbow Service on Sunday 27th November at 3pm.
This service aims to provide an opportunity for people who have been bereaved, recently or some time ago, to remember and reflect in a short time of worship together.
All welcome.

Historic Scotland decided against listing Cumbernauld Town Centre. I've written about their decision for my blog. Anyone who reads my writing regularly will know I have *A LOT* to say. I do think this is a good thing.
