Get new tyres fitted to the campervan Thursday, Chippy boy has his 4-weekly injection Friday, joint concert with the Ladies choir Saturday.

This method of seeking support is a part of the culture here. The posts themselves, and the people publishing them pose no threat. The idea that you could somehow police the true meaning, and intentions of an account seeking financial support is the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard.

The beautiful thing about this being a federated network is that if a certain admin wants to make dumb decisions (the defed loving #CupOfTeaSocial) you are free to leave that instance for a better one.

People have argued that scams are rare or even nonexistent and that they really shouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I agree with that, but let's try another argument out.

Spoiling myself with the #mugshot this morning. I love it when holiday apartments have appropriately sized mugs and I was worried that espresso mugs would be all I'd find here in Italy. Instead, it gives a nice sense of perspective.

I can never work out how best to demonstrate the size of these mugs. This is the final offering while I stay with my brother, another twenty ouncer (just over half a litre to normal people), and again filled with my favourite jammy tea.

The beverage is good, but the best part for me is holding a warm mug to my chest and just breathing for a little while, feeling the heat. I like it.

Raiding my brother's cupboards, today's mug of choice is this 20oz Hello Kitty behemoth, which says "14 years+" on the bottom.
