Just back from a quick visit to the #allotment. Still picking tomatoes, but they're coming to an end, as are the courgettes. Time for a #cuppa then out to the #garden to pick some more tomatoes and the last of the beans plus a bit of weeding and tidying

Completed lots of little jobs that added up in total to a lot. Planted out climbing beans, plus peppers and aubergines in one of the mini polytunnels, weeded the 6' x 4' #nodig #squarefootgarden and sorted out spare plants (tomatoes and peppers) to take to the plant swap at the #allotment tomorrow. Now enjoying a nice #cuppa and anticipating toad-in-the-hole for tea.

Still have some tomatoes and peppers to pot on as well, so hope I have enough stamina to get that all done before my energy levels are depleted.
Oh and I have a new water butt to connect as the previous one cracked in the cold weather.

It was the first mowing of the year so took three or four (or more) circuits. One of my plot neighbours turned up and we spent some time catching up so the early potatoes never got planted #today, a job for #tomorrow then. Must take a few photos to share with you all. Settling down this afternoon with a #cuppa, a biscuit and a sudoku puzzle or two #lazysunday

Tidied the two mini polytunnels ready for the tomatoes, peppers and, first for me this year, melon. Also put some shallots into large modules to get them off to a good start. Finished off with a general tidy up. Feeling a bit weary now, so time for a nice cuppa and some shortbread bodybuilders we were gifted at Christmas.
