"Is this the one you were looking for, Big Sister?"

Didn't spend very long on any of these but wasn't really keeping track. Maybe 60-90 minutes for the whole thing?

When I decided to try this as a two tone study I didn't expect that it would add an extra element of poignancy due to the way each leg would have to be rendered.

The church stood before me, light flickering around the door. Eyes closed, I stepped in and down the aisle towards the new god, its thundering vibrating the very air. Lifting my axe, I let it fall, feeling the god break and the stillness of silence. I opened my eyes, turned away from the shattered glass and electrics. The old priest of the old god came beside me. With one hand lifted to his chin, he made a single sign: thank you. I nodded and walked back out.

He noticed how the snow melted on the roof of the black church, and how it did not have a door.

He climbed through an open window and almost knocked the... glass?.. with the roses laid... on the bare parquet?

Through another window he saw a man with a prosthetic leg resting after a run.

"Welcome!" said a voice coming from an empty sofa at the well-lit end of the nave. "What is it you miss? This Church is good at helping with loss."
