Finished the render for #CuratorPrompts136 I manually placed the leaves b/c I was rusty on how to use the particle system but think that would’ve been less tedious! 😅 The lineart is from Freestyle. Some of the inconsistencies w/ it on the rocks are b/c of different methods I tried to sculpt the rocks into shape. Part of the rock to the right had a lot more polygons than other rocks.

This is a #WIP for #CuratorPrompts136. I planned to paint this, but started modeling in #Blender3D for practice w/ outdoor scenes!

The 1st step was modeling the foreground & midground. The materials for the rocks were made w/ shaders. They’re not as accurate to how the colors are spread out in the photo but I like how efficient they are & are stylized! This was rendered in Cycles to show the reflections, but will become an experiment in stylized shading.

I did the #CuratorPrompts for the first time!

It is a sketch that took me around 1 hour to make. It is in black and white, as I'm not confident at all with color - my colorblindness makes coloring very difficult.
Other than that, water is hard to render! I should exercice more on that bit.

I think it turned out fine, especially since it's my first painting I did since I burnt out a few month ago.
