On the third anniversary of her wedding the queen appeared as a changed person.
Gone were her disheveled state she kept as an act of rebellion. Gone were her uncouth manners to keep the court at bay.

Instead we saw a calm and collected woman of unimaginable beauty take the king's side.
Even the flowers in her hair - a gift from her fay heritage now lay neat and orderly; the petals colored like the crest of the empire.

Soon, we'd learn to fear her.
