Giving Gardeners World a bit of sideye. The Oh Look At Our Little Garden In Swansea (in Mumbles probably and that likely cost 30 grand to build plus the fancy outdoor kitchen)

Why do I find it irritating though? It’s the lack of acknowledgement that this shit gets expensive and is a huge project to do. Also, on some of the gardens you can just about work out they have gardeners doing it for them, but they rarely say. Feels dishonest.

Unpopular opinion, I'm sure...

I've been rewatching the three most recent Star Wars movies. (Episodes 7, 8 & 9.)

There are some good plot elements in there, and a lot of really cool visuals, but overall, these movies aren't very good.

There were so many wasted opportunities with Finn's character, and his relationships. (This the case with multiple characters, really.)

Yes, these are fun movies, but overall they feel very two-dimensional for long stretches of time.

It seems like my curmudgeon-like outlook hasn't improved in 24 hours. I mean people! It's up with half my feed filled with the talk about Elmo Musk? It's not that news-worthy. I'd have a lot better time here if people weren't constantly analyzing his behavior and giving him the attention which he clearly wants. He's a child. Ignore him.

I stumbled onto this movie titled "A Man Called Otto" starring Tom Hanks, and ten minutes in, I want to be like him when I get a bit older. This is just what I needed to see today, although I'm sure it gets mushy by the end.

Its wierd; in MTPO, you can get FUCKED UP for bad spacing/timing/getting greedy, same as older #Fromsoft games. Bullied for being in the wrong place with bad decision-making.

But now, its you get clapped, but are given time to get up. Its even worse to lose one of these and theyre all like "OH HERES HINT HERES INSTANT RETRY" like they got trained to only know one problem and one solution.

I’m still using an #iphone 8 plus. When this new phone comes out I will be 7 generations behind? I use touchID instead of FaceID and I like a physical mute switch. It seems like apple is just going all software. No more hardware buttons. No more headphone jack. No more fingerprint reader. Just all proprietary software. I just keep getting the battery replaced on this device. There’s nothing wrong with it and lots of stuff I don’t want on all the newer phones. #curmudgeon

Spending a lot of time extricating myself from Lastpass and Evernote, both of which I loved for years, and had a meeting where one presenter appeared as a bear courtesy of Zoom.
