A time loop, a young mage who has to improve rapidly in order to save his world, and a fascinating magic system make this an absolute treat to read.
The first book was pure fun and incredibly gripping. I basically devoured it, reading on my phone whenever I possibly could.
The plot is tight, clever, and the addiction factor is high. Highly recommended!

And my #currentread is "The Winners" by Fredrik Backman, book 3 of the Beartown trilogy. Such a wonderful writer, probably my current favorite. But it is a long book! I also have "Big Dirty Money" Jennifer Taub on #audiobook but it is depressing how easy it is to get away with Big Dirty white collar crime. solutions are so easy, if anyone in power had the backbone. @bookstodon

I've been #reading an #Indian #dystopian book and so far it's been a hundred pages of a married woman escaping Mumbai's Hindu nationalist hoards while reminiscing about her missing husband. A hundred pages of detailed sexual frustration because dude wouldn't put out for over the first year of their marriage.
I have no idea why I'm reading it but I still am. I buy books impulsively and so here I lie in this bed of pages.
