377 followers · 15895 posts · Server mastodon.xyzApropos of nothing in particular, I was thinking the other day how weird it was that as a child I was taught in 'joined-up' writing to write a weird squiggle for a 'z' in a word, and that odd looped 'k'.
Having decided they were weird at the time, I settled on a normal joined-up 'k', and a normal joined-up 'z'.
Oh and I use a loops on 'j'; 'y'; 'g' to make things easier too.
Have we moved on now, or are those odd shapes still taught?:*
