Finished 'Romantic Comedy' by Curtis Sittenfeld. It was pretty smart and funny addition to romance resurgence that is happening. It was a book club read.

I always feel really odd after reading these sorts of books. I always come out of them feeling sad, hopeless and I don't think that is the aim? Do people come out of these books feeling great about things? Is it because I have all but given up on dating? Too cynical? Bitter?

It's a nice change from all the depresso/trauma themed I guess??

I started reading Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld, which is my April Book of the Month. I chose it in part because the Sally main character who's a comedy writer made me think of Sally from the Dick Van Dyke show.

But 29 pages in, I'm not sure I like it.
