I believe book matched cherry is nature’s kaleidoscope. These knots at look like moons on the horizon of a science fiction landscape or maybe a string of beads. What do you see? This is the largest piece I resawed on the new bandsaw. It was about 12” across to start so when it’s glued, it will be close to 24” across. I’m pleased with the way this bookcase and base cabinet for my son came out. The handles for the sliding doors are walnut for contrast to the maple case. I’m currently booking projects for the coming year. #woodworking #customfurniture @SDF
