Yesterday's art treat at work. I love these Star Trek posters. I shared a few other images before I migrated to this instance, but the style was pretty similar to this. So cool.

Because of the heavy load of Christmas orders we needed to go through these past three weeks, I wasn't able to keep up with the art crossing everyone's tables. In my case, it wasn't till two days ago when some goodies dropped on my lap.

Here's one. So sweet and whimsical -- print of a children's book cover art (I think). The artist is Pamela Zagarenski.

Good lord. I actually stress-ate my way through my shift today. We were down three people in the morning and one came in really late (dunno what his excuse was, but he showed up and eased some of the load). We were so desperate for help that we somehow got upper management to come out of their hidey holes and help out with framing. And they were pretty damn hilarious, figuring things out and trying to remember the process since it's been a dog's age for them. #DayJob #CustomPictureFraming

I've got quite a few photos of cool art from work, but I continue to post them at random.

As with some of the stuff I've come across at work, this one sadly didn't have a certificate of authenticity that would've given us more information on the artist and the title of the work. It's a print, actually. The original was a watercolor, and the image was printed on watercolor paper.

It's been a while since I last shared pics I took of great art I worked on (or someone else worked on). This print landed on my worktable about two or three weeks ago.

It's a print of the Cologne Cathedral illustrated with the use of staves and notes going vertically. I know nothing about the piece's concept, but Geoffry Wharton does exist, and he's both a classical musician and an artist.

The "ghosting" problem tends to happen a lot when artists stretch their own canvases and don't use enough tension to pull the canvases taut over the bars. A loose or sagging canvas = easily damaged canvas.

The beaded edge is the bump that runs along the outer edge of a stretcher bar.
