I know #Brexit Schmexit, right... but hear me out a sec.
Because #Brits now need to get passport stamps when entering/leaving #Europe, I had massive problems on recent trips because #customs in Madeira didn't have enough ink for the exit stamp.

Since then, each time I've tried to enter or leave any other #European country, they claim I'm missing a stamp and I have beef at #border #control.

Does anyone else miss those days when we could just travel *without* these frigging stamps! 😡

My version was trying to walk 40 prototype PCIe SATA cards undeclared through Schiphol airport customs.

I tried to explain about testing hardware in-situ at the customer's site.

Exasperated, I just told #Customs inspector...

"If you want, you could confiscate the cards, and I will spend a pointless but nice week in NL, then go home and get fired, then go find a #job that is better."

The inspector told me my story seemed stupid enough to be true! Then he let me through!
