Don't remind me of his '70% in favour'. What a great contribution he made to the Ref campaign! Plus his call to invoke #art50 the next day too.
I honestly want to FORGET him. He cost us dearly.
What I want is for #Labour to join forces with the #Greens, the #LibDems, whoever, to ENSURE:
1 we get the #ToriesOut
2 we get rid of the insane #FPTP

Agree. If #Labour was willing to go in coalition with other opposition parties, we would #GTTO without the need to sacrifice so much needed policy like joining #SingleMarket and #CustomsUnion.
Many democracies work in coalitions. It has worked in Spain. And they don't have the heavy antidemocratic burden of #FPTP.
Starmer's unwillingness to do that puts #GTTO at risk.

If #KeirStarmer can change his mind so easily about #FreedomOfMovement, I can also change mine about #Labour.
Either #Labour tells me it will aim to rejoin the #SingleMarket and the #CustomsUnion to alleviate the catastrophic results of the hard #Brexit the crazy #Tories imposed, or it can say goodbye to my vote.
That is MY #RedLine.

It has to be clear, because otherwise they will not have a clear mandate if they win. Correct. Nobody in the #EU likes the #Swiss arrangements. But Switzerland is a LAND island surrounded by EU countries, so big efforts were probably the only way to ease relations.
That's not the case for an "offshore" like the UK.
In any case, I never heard #Brexiters mention Switzerland during the Ref campaign. They promised #SingleMarket, #CustomsUnion, #Norway... nothing like what they delivered.
We must aim to #RejoinEU as soon as possible.
We need a new govt.
