The CV90 has its engine in the front and hopefully the crew managed to escape without serious injuries. It’s worth noting that the driver seems to do a sharp turn left going of the road so other vehicles can pass the damaged vehicle and continue the attack. #Ukraine

It seems like the #cv90 experienced it’s first combat contact in #Ukraine. The discussion in the #osint community seems to be if it was hit by the RU. Most likely some other vehicle was hit. The CV90s that was sent to Ukraine seems to be equipped with the Saab barracuda system. The barracuda system lowers the IR signatures and reduce the radar detection. A plausible theory could be that the other vehicle took a hit instead and the CV90 was saved by barracuda. https://t.me/lost_warinua/40828

There have been some reports regarding CV90 in Ukraine. Some pictures are not from Ukraine. Sweden has sent around 50 vehicles to Ukraine of the C version. The C version is a modified version that was built for expeditionary use with slightly enhanced armor. The ones that Ukraine has received seems to be equipped with the Saab barracuda camo system. The Barracuda camouflage lowers heat signature and radar (RCS). Attaching pictures of the C version in #Ukraine #cv90 with barracuda.

Things look different for #Ukraine. Except for occasional M113, Humvees, MRAPs and artillery, western equipment is largely invisible. I have not noticed 🇫🇷 VABs or 🇩🇪 Dingos in combat footage yet (since the Kherson offensive). Combined with the fact that 🇺🇦 is receiving lots of equipment ( #Leopard #Bradley #Marder #Stryker #CV90 ) in the next weeks and months, it seems that Ukraine is building up quite a sizeable reserve.

#Sweden will give #Ukraine 10 #Leopard2 and air defense systems (IRIS-T and Hawks system parts). Swedish PM #UlfKristersson said at #Boden today 20230224.

Defense minister stressed that Sweden will also send enough of #CV90 for a whole battalion.
