Came within striking distance of breaking my record for number of countries spotted in 24 hours today. If I didn't know any better I'd think this map was FT8 spots on first glance but this was just 15m CW. You don't have to be a big gun station to have decent "ears" as they say.

At this pace I'll probably beat my last record for most countries decoded in 24hr with the CW skimmer this weekend. It goes to show that there are still a bunch of well equiped ops that are holdouts on FT8. They are willing to blast CALL 5NN TU 73 all day long at each other but somehow that's different than FT8. 🙄

Receiving in central #Ohio on an #Airspy HF+ connected to a tiny 9:1 balun and 37 random feet of wire strung up in my house, along the ceiling. Audio is sent from SDR Console via virtual audio cable to CW Skimmer that can do hundreds of decodes at once.
