Adam Wallace is a children's author based in Melbourne who was previously an engineer and primary school teacher (sort of ... he never made it into a classroom!). Last weekend to book a writing bootcamp.

The Bootcamp is a day spent with an editor where you will receive feedback on your work in small group sessions, time to work on your manuscripts followed by a progress session where they will give you further feedback, there is also a discussion panel and a Q&A session.


Places for the Bootcamp are strictly limited to four people per group, with each editor working with two groups.

Mandy thrives on finding the balance between words and pictures as an Award-winning, best-selling Author and Illustrator of more than 27 picture books. She considers herself an adventure illustrator, where every manuscript is an opportunity to explore. She is an Ambassador for Raising Literacy Australia and the SA SCBWI Coordinator. She still loves to paint traditionally, particularly in watercolour, marvelling at all the happy accidents this creates.

Her books include the heart-warming Joey and Riley, Lucy and Copper and Bev and Kev.
