For the past 9 years I was using #CyanogenMod and #OxygenOS.
Now I feel like I'm a spoiled #android brat 🥲

I want to make #grapheneOS my daily driver and it is like a reality check on how #stockandroid actually feels like, when it is not sugarcoated 😆 I am in pain!

My first gripe: how do I get rid of the white bar at the bottom? (Who needs it?)

I feel like I need to make a bunch of adjustments before I can feel comfortable using it. This is NOT GrapheneOS' fault. It is simply stockandroid.

Look, #Google, if #CyanogenMod or whatever it's called this week can do it, so can you.

It's time we used the #government to force basic support.

@BradRubenstein it would be perfect if there was a reliable way to pass #SafetyNet... #CyanogenMod on my old Nexus 5 was great as everything worked and SafetyNet checks passed without issue as long as the device wasn't rooted. Since the verified boot arrangements have changed on newer devices, SafetyNet is a big problem. It's crazy that updated, unrooted #lineageos with an unlocked bootloader is considered less secure than a locked but unpatched OS that is out of its OEM support period...

I mentioned that a bunch of my deleted tweets showed back up yesterday. Interestingly, it was just a small block of them circa 2010 when the nascent #CyanogenMod community was first coming together. That was some incredible energy and I enjoyed the trip down memory lane. It feels like the same energy but even bigger is happening here today on #Mastodon!

Grabbed a random device from my bottomless bag of phones and booted it for fun.. #HTC One M9 running #CyanogenMod 12 (#Android #Lollipop) circa 2015. Check out that *sweet* #Google+ widget! It's super fast and smooth, this was totally my daily for at least a year

Any y’all have this shirt? Does anyone recall exactly what they had sent these out for? They sent swag boxes out pre some big release, and I don’t remember what the release was. I think it might have been when they were announcing becoming a company and no longer a hobby project possibly?
