We have several openings but I'm mostly hoping to find a #DevOps person here.

as we have a healthy mix of physical & cloud servers, Windows & Linux, Embedded C to JavaScript, ARM Cortex to extreme gameing rigs. Unfortunately this means you can't be remote :(

1. May have gotten backup server happily situated
2. Installed Plex w/ Docker and it … works?
3. Installed a Transmission + WebUI + OpenVPN docker image too

In Chapters 31-3 there are three secret fediverse instances based on the three levels of bofa:

bofadeez.rocks
sugma.wang
ligma.kitty

They federate in the pivotal Chapter 33 scene "The Secret Meeting". When they do, something magical happens to the #cybre, and a secret cybrespace opens like a lotus. That's where the meeting occurs.

Even worse, it got me to #amediting #Spanner In The Works chapter 2 yet again and making it even more ridiculously #cybre. That scene's now one of the most #cyberpunk in the book.

And the name of the story is *drumroll*:
The Girl With Video Skin.

#Spanner #introduction addendum #1 (first note on world building):

In 2024 the internet's not what it used to be. In fact, there's 3 of it now and they rarely intersect.

The first is the official state-controlled net. I haven't yet figured out what to trademark it, but it won't be "Technosphere".

The #darknet is so scarily underground I won't even get to it till the sequel, Rock City Blues.

Finally there's a much smaller and more liminal fediverse called simply the #cybre, spelled that way.

@luckystrike I think I could still have the same form factor from the exterior. besides, repurposing mass produced disposable gear for something meant to be repaired and hacked feels pretty #cybre to me.
