Sowbread, Cyclamen hederifolium, is native from southern France to western Turkey, Mediterranean islands, farther north in Europe and in the Pacific Northwest.
In the wild flowers appear well before the foliage (seen here). Leaves resemble Hedera ivy leaves and so the plant is commonly called the ivy-leaved cyclamen.

Something is not right with the universe. I have cyclamens that have been flowing since winter. I thought it was just I'd confused them by moving them at the end of flowering season. But now there are flowering cyclamens for sale in Harris Farm? In mid summer? #weather #cyclamen

I am partially satisfied with this one. It was tricky lighting on Sunday and I was just using my phone, which is not a newer iPhone. I need to replace it, though it can still take pretty good shots with the right lighting. I sometimes come across photos from years past that were taken with an iPhone 4S and I’m shocked at how good some of them still are.

This magnificent and huge cyclamen was given to my company as a year end present. The general affairs department guy wanted to throw it away already!!! So I took it out of his hand and brought it home xD
