#WestNorfolk #PlanningCommittee added a requirement that the borough crematorium should add standards-compliant #cycleParking 🙂. Still a bit annoying that the #cycling campaign even had to comment to get the borough to follow its own policies, but job done 🅿️🚲✅ Strangely, I think all the Conservatives voted against the cycle parking being up to standard. Not sure why.

Even on a fairly miserable grey and wet mid-week afternoon it's fairly busy with bikes. A large proportion of shopping is done by bicycle because it's the most convenient form of transport. Also: parking a bike is free of charge.

Seeing lots of variety in the styles of bikes being used in Rathmines this morning (including two bakfiets and some other cargo bikes).
Between them and scooters, it's great to see other options to cars being used, but a real lack of cycle parking options (only one style obvious to a visitor and none really suitable for childrens bikes, and definitely none suitable for bikes with different to standard frames).
