5 years ago this week I helped organise a demo on Kildare Street highlighting the high numbers of people cycling who were dying with the call of #StopKillingCyclists. It brought together a collective of groups and individuals who wanted the option of #CyclingForAll in safety.
Things may have improved somewhat thru wider awareness. How far away is much safer cycling? The bicycle is too an important urban mobility solution to have barriers for wider uptake.
