Long days ride, roadside lunch, then last 20 miles thru driving rain to #Bemidji State Park after 64 miles. 5 minutes after arriving the sun was back out! What *is* the official policy on bike lanes? Are they supposed to be primarily for moving cycle traffic, or are they delivery lanes that cyclists are welcome to use when deliveries aren't happening? This happens so frequently I'm honestly confused by this point.

Back from a 4 week cycling trip. Cycled almost 2000 km from Normandy to the Netherlands with only one real rain day. I just enjoyed a shower with a towel that didn't smell like wet dog and look forward to sleeping in a real bed and not having a sore butt.

The last 12 months we cycled through 19 counties, saw diverse landscapes, slept almost every night on a different spot (see on the map), met such lovely people and collected a huge 'backpack' of experiences and memories.
