An otherwise miserable day, with spitting rain and gusts of wind that threatened to knock me over.

Nonetheless, finished off the last day in proper style. Hanging out with a good friend, having couple pints, some incredible tacos ( from https://champlin.chililime.net/ ) and complaining about the weather while simultaneously appreciating we got outside in the weather.

After a bunch of home chores I have to admit I was a little uninspired to get out.

So today 30 days was a bit like the proverbial “eating your vegetables,” or “practicing scales.” Glad I did it, and I know it’ll be better for me in the long game.

This was a “riveting” accounting errand I got to run today.

And I know what you’re asking, “aren’t all accounting errands completely riveting?” I’m quite certain that “absolutely not,” is the answer, but YMMV.

On the flip side, the weather was brilliant; almost 50°F and no wind to speak of. A perfect spring cycling day.

Rest day from Tour de LBS to take the kid out for a little fun time in the SUV.

SUV is about as appropriate as I can describe this 29er - a bicycle parallel to what I see on our roads daily. It is built to handle conditions it'll probably never see, instead looking the part of an all terrain vehicle while rarely leaving pavement. Until I get a e-bakfiet, this is my way to haul kids and "stuff" on two wheels.
