The consistent refusal of the ruling class of clawing back the obscene wealth posted by the record profits from banks, supermarkets and energy companies is an attack on the dignity of us all.

It's like offering a band aid to a hemorrhaging patient and expecting a pat in the back.

It's not a mystery. The science is clear.

We either take bold, radical action immediately or we crash and burn.

Unfortunately the track record of both major parties makes me feel very sceptical about their capacity for anything but Business As Usual.

The Greens are the only ones that at least rhetorically approach the scale of what is necessary, although they probably also fall short.

Nothing would make me happier than to be proven wrong though.
