I'm looking forward to not reading the #Cymbalta subreddit for poor suffering people tapering off ...and their helpers. I am way too sensitive to tapering off antidepressants, but I did it anyway. It was required before my periodic large panel of allergy testing. Tuesday, after I leave allergist's I will break my 24 hour caffeine fast with such joy, but MULISH part of me is saying "Hold up" to the plan to go right back on several meds....

I love my #SSRI

Like, life is still difficult at times, and I 100% self diagnose as #AuDHD ever since I learned what it feels like as an adult, which puts my normally easy mode life into… well… easy mode but with fewer QOL mods.

But even my worst days on #Cymbalta have been on par with an average day before.

My current meds:

- #Duloxetine (an SNRI #antidepressant, often sold as #Cymbalta)
- #Clonazepam (a #benzodiazepine primarily for #anxiety/#PanicAttacks)
- #Paroxetine (an SSRI antidepressant, known as ‘#Paxil’)
- #Lithium carbonate (a mood stabilizer, used for #BiPolar disorder, but in my case to reduce #SuicidalIdeation - intrusive suicidal impulses)

We aim to reduce the Clonazepam and Paroxetine to zero this year (I’ve ended up on these four after a long time of trying different meds).

So I’m going through Cymbalta withdrawal. One of my housemates gave me a gabapentin to help with the withdrawal symptoms. She said it would probably make me sleepy, three hours later wide awake.

@SaganandLoki aww hope you feel better ❤️ #Wellbutrin really helps me, and #Cymbalta #antidepressants #Fibromyalgia and when I got my #hypothyroidism diagnosed, treated - dessicated or lab dessicated #thyroid meds my #depression (hope #s okay) has not ever come back the same - I have changed as well, energy work, spirituality, and you may already know all this, but ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
