The Zeutzschs living in the #Weißeritztal were namely ancestors of Sophie Auguste Friederike von Anhalt-Zerbst, who ruled #Russia from 1762 as #Czarina Katharina II, also called #Katharina the Great.

The monument hall of the Döhlen church in Freital near Dresden, gets a new coat of paint. In the central part of the hall, i.e. the apse, the family tree of the #Zeutzsch family, who once owned a knight's estate in #Döhlen, is now emblazoned in fresh colors. A mighty oak bears in its branches the names and coats of arms of several generations - and of a famous #czarina.
