In the words of my fiance, "turkey is pretty mid". So he made us svíčková as our special meal. It is SO GOOD, I could eat it forever. He's never had a homemade apple pie, so he asked me to make one... but I've never made a pie! I think it turned out petty alright though.

We made roasted pork loin and sauerkraut for dinner, using a combined total of 27 cloves of garlic. My house now smells the way it always should.

Actually, 2 things missing: beer and potatoes. (Our children, astoundingly, don’t like most preparations of potatoes. Otherwise we would have boiled or roasted potatoes.) #CzechFood
